We developed a mobile endless runner set in a post-apocalyptic universe, where each game session presents a new route – ensuring a fresh and unique experience every time. At the core of the gameplay is a play-to-earn mechanic, allowing players to stake and earn QUDO (cryptocurrency) by challenging others with their best runs or by accepting and beating challenges set by other players.
Players can also use NFTs purchased within the QUDO ecosystem, such as weapons with varying performance levels, adding an extra layer of customization and strategy.

To tackle the project’s complexity, the LOAD team adopted a multifaceted approach:

• Built Proofs of Concept (PoCs) to validate the game’s technology, architecture, and effort before scaling development.
  
• Implemented procedural world generation to ensure unique challenges in every session.
  
• Integrated the QUDO SDK for blockchain connectivity, enabling performance-based crypto rewards.
  
• Designed engaging gamification features like daily challenges, achievements, and leaderboards – with a strong focus on the “Challenges” module, where players compete under identical conditions.
  
• Introduced NFTs through QUDO’s ecosystem, allowing users to equip items they’ve purchased or subscribed to.
  
• Conducted extensive UX/UI testing with player feedback to continuously iterate the gaming experience.
• Developed the game in Unity with a custom backend, ensuring high performance and full integration with QUDO’s systems.

DOAL’s project resulted in an innovative play-to-earn game that blends immersive gameplay with a digital economy based on verifiable assets. By combining unique challenges, crypto rewards, and NFT integration, the game – and LOAD – stand out in the market.
Beyond tapping into new markets and audiences, the project significantly enhanced LOAD’s in-house expertise in areas such as blockchain, artificial intelligence, and gaming – making the team even more prepared to lead complex, high-impact tech projects in the future.
