Earth observation, also known as EO, is a technology that collects information about planet Earth using Earth observation data provided by NASA or by the European Space Agency (ESA). It is usually used to monitor the general state and changes of the natural and built environment, but can also be useful for various industries such as agriculture or maritime.
In recent years, space observation has evolved thanks to the development of remote-sensing satellites and the increase of high-tech instruments. For example, if we think about agrotechnology or other trends in this sector, EO is an indispensable technology and perhaps the most important one, as it has a wide range of capabilities.
